About Bible Quizio

Why we made it

A quiz is a gentle way back into the Bible: a name you half remember, a connection you had not noticed, a passage worth rereading. Every question points to the Scripture behind its answer so that the quiz sends you to the Bible rather than away from it.

Bible Quizio is open to everyone, whether you are a child learning your first stories, a Sunday school teacher preparing a group activity, or someone who simply enjoys the details.

How the questions are made

Every question has exactly four options and one correct answer, and each answer carries a Scripture reference and a short explanation so you can check it yourself. We review the questions and correct any that turn out to be wrong or unclear.

Quizzes are available in eight languages. Questions are written in each language rather than translated word for word.

Which Bible translation?

Answers point to the verse where the passage is found, so they hold across translations, although a name or phrase may be worded slightly differently from the one you read. In the Bible reader, English opens in the King James Version and French in the Louis Segond 1910, and you can switch to another translation at any time.

Found a mistake?

No quiz is perfect. If you think an answer is wrong or unclear, tell us on the contact page with the question and the verse you have in mind. We read every report and correct questions that are wrong.
